BuyTrigger.Cards is Alex & Oscar’s father-and-son card project. Pokémon is at its centre, with room for other trading cards and the anime we enjoy—including Naruto. The cartoon collectors are our brand illustration, not a photograph.
The site brings two things into the same place: the pleasure of looking at cards, and the detail needed to understand a price. Artwork should be easy to see. Numbers should be easy to question.
Three ways to use the site
Start with the market. Explore the TCG Modern Index and Top 50 Raw editions, see the cards behind them, and check which observations actually support a number.
Drop into Card Desk. Catch a short, attributed update, then open the original source or read our fuller explanation when the story needs one.
Work through a decision. Use the grading calculator and research guides to separate a tempting resale price from the money left after costs.
What to expect from this first edition
This is an early view of what we are building. The index pages make unfinished basket composition and missing history visible. The news desk credits the people doing the reporting. Examples are labelled, and an unavailable price stays unknown.
There is no public portfolio signup in this edition. Explore the research, read a story and follow the sources that interest you. We will add depth where the evidence supports it.
